The opening line is A&M -2. That’s not going to get Sumlin fired. We’ve already beat him 3 times since he’s been at A&M

You do realize Sumlin isn't gonna get fired right? The guy's not that bad any way. Other than the choke at UCLA and the close Nichol state game, you all have been doing fine.

It could still go either way. This game is very, very important for Sumlin. If he wins on Saturday, he’s probably going to survive the season.

I say probably because a November collapse could still sink him, even with a win. If we beat MSU, but go o-fer against Auburn and Ole Miss and LSU, things could get interesting.

and 59-0, and a losing conference record at Kyle Field (8-12), and losing to a 5-win Mississippi State team after being ranked 4th, and losing to a 5-win Ole Miss team having a freshman quarterback literally playing his first college game, blowing a 15 point 4th quarter lead in the process at home, and having both his starting and backup QB transfer within 6 days of each other right before a bowl game, and having 2 total conference wins between mid-October and Thanksgiving since Manziel left...

SECW is a bit of a step up from the Big 12. Not too shabby when you think about it. You play 3 teams who have recently won national titles just in your division. Ags gotta chill.

You guys have also beat Auburn at their home 2 or 3 times now which is no small task

TAMU all time win%: .603

Sumlin: .681

he has you playing above your historical average as well. Not too bad if you ask me.

No, we have NEVER beaten Auburn at home.

Sumlin had more home losses after 5 seasons than FRANCHIONE did.

Conference Home Records:

Mike Sherman: 8-9
Dennis Franchione: 11-9
Kevin Sumlin: 8-12 (7-11 after 5 seasons)

No, but he had a FAR WEAKER non-conference home slate.

Franchione played Utah (Urban Meyer) and Pittsburgh (Larry Fitzgerald) in 2003, and Clemson in 2004

You need to only worry about one team on that list. Ole miss. Everyone else is totally capable of beating your arse and it has nothing to do with Sumlin. It’s because y’all are sodomites and we in the south don’t take kindly to such things. Ole Miss does though.

State is actually 2-3 against A&M since 2012.

I do not have much confidence in us winning this game on the road. To even have a chance, we will have had to mature tremendously since the UGA:Auburn games.
Right I do not see us winning this game. I will be thrilled if we do but you have to give A&M the edge.

If A&M is only a two point favorite then I will take them to cover, if I was a betting man which I am not.

SECW, Big 12 and Sumlin would have an ez winning record. You all wanted to join the SEC, just accept it takes time to build a dominate program.

Wins vs. ranked teams at home:

Sherman - 3 (3-7 overall, 11 total home losses)
Franchione - 3 (3-8 overall, 9 total home losses)
Sumlin - 3 (3-10 overall, 12 total home losses)
