We didn’t kill the Big 12, Missouri did. Think back to the summer of 2010 (and remember that the Longhorn Network didn’t exist until Spring of 2011).
It was Missouri who dropped their panties like a low rent whore the MOMENT the Big 10 mentioned conference expansion. Well, at that point, it became a contest between Nebraska and Mizzou as to who was going to get that invite and when Mizzou balked at paying the $4 mill signage fees along with the probationary monetary status the Big 10 required for the first two years, Nebraska gladly stepped into that void and accepted the invite. Colorado had been looking longingly at the Pac-10 for years and once it became obvious that Nebraska was leaving, they took their invite.
Mizzou is only in the SEC because they were too cheap to pay the Big 10 and leave. That’s on Mizzou.
If A&M got upset about the LHN, I can understand that. But I no sympathy for you when you remember that DeLoss went to $Bill first and asked about a joint A&M/UT network that $Bill rejected because “the cost would be too high, and the ROI doesn’t seem to be there for this.” Fast forward to ESPN’s $300 mill Godfather offer and now A&M is sitting there with egg on their face and then running to Daddy Slive, totally prepared to be Bama’s prison bitch (remember, Aggy, the SEC is HQ’ed in Birmingham, not Atlanta and sure as hell not Dallas), which is a position they have quickly assumed.
But hey, why let facts get in the way of a good rant.

It's a fun novelty game to watch purely for entertainment, but gets really old, really fast. Sips were too arrogant to consider the concept of conference partnership. I bet you STILL don't get it.

Actually, you kept pushing it back. It was supposed to be this year, but you pushed it back to 2021. I doubt seriously this game ever happens.
No matter, Fayette-Nam isn't anybody's idea of fun, so enjoy War Memorial, Pigs, and try not to throw up on yourself against ULM or Rutgers or whoever you play next year.

Mizzou's school president issued an almost immediate reply to Jim Delany's press conference about adding a 12th team. That's what started it all and it caught everybody off guard. Should it have knowing that Mizzou had been looking longingly at the Big 10 for 80 years?
Maybe not.
But even by whore standards, Mizzou couldn't hop on that Big 10 tip fast enough and at that point, the end of the Big 12 became inevitable. Nebraska wasn't going to let a lesser school like Mizzou get their invite, so Tom Osborne went to work and the Nebraska boosters started writing checks. Good on, Nebraska.
Don't let things like timelines and facts get in the way, Aggy.

War Memorial isn't in Fayetteville, you stupid sip
And Razorback stadium is a helluva better atmosphere than DKKKR. Ain't nobody ever mistaken that place for the campus library even in a WINLESS SEC season.
