This is why we don't want to play the longhorns anymore ... you don't do business with snakes like this, and an OOC series is a huge business deal.

All those longhorn fans around town that once made fun of my aggies because we sucked. They are all changing who they are "Fans" of.
Nose in the air and their shite don't stink. Even Baylor has made them look bad. A fickle fanbase that only cares about themselves. Nothing better than to watch their stadium empty out during a game.

Does Alabama take a higher cut of conference revenue based upon their TV schedule? No. Does Alabama speak publicly to the press about the negatives of other member universities? No. Is Alabama the devil? No.
We've lived with UTa. If you think Alabama is bad, it's because you haven't had to live in the same house with Texas.

Yeah, it's easy to forget that Arkansas vs. Texas was a big game back in the day. But playing them every year wasn't worth keeping them as business partners.

That's really the shame of the whole thing. It's a great game that the state of Texas lost when the two flagship schools stopped playing each other.

I know I'm not supposed to take joy in the misfortunes of others, but in this case I'm rationalizing it by hating the Institution that is UT.
I won't waste any more hate on them, but I sure as well won't try to stop them from fricking up anything they do as of late.

Bama is nowhere near what Texas is ... Bama is not destructive to the rest of the conference. Bama is, and let's admit this, the standard bearer for the conference lately, despite some of their more nefarious fans' reputations.
Texas is a pox to everyone around them. Bama has never done anything to disintegrate or otherwise try to destroy the SEC for their own selfish reasons.
