Just as hard in Kansas and Iowa State as it is going to be in Tuscaloosa.

Hahaha holy shite the disrespect coming from a program that would be ranked in the bottom half of the SEC.

It’s gonna be fun breaking these sissy boys.

Wrong
actually that’s right. 2009 was the last time Texas was the preseason favorite to win the big 12.

Please feel free to show me how I’m wrong

What’s funny about them being picked to win it this year. It’s not bc they are any good. It’s just because the entire conference sucks.

Way, cripple fight!
The lack of self-awareness saying this when:

A.) A&M had a worse record in the Big 12 than they do in the SEC (despite finishing last place in the sec last year), and

B.) A&M football was far and away the most overrated team in college sports each of the last two years. Preseason No. 6 in 2021 and 2022 only to finish unranked both times and fail to play in a bowl game each year

By beating both teams last year by a combined 44 points?

ETA: downvotes on each of the last three posts within seconds. Triggered aggies, y’all…

Bamas locker room is nicer than the donor suites at Darryl Royal Stadium.

2008, #4 Ole Miss @ SC on thursday night. Our crowd absolutely won us that game

Was that dumb to say? Of course. You never want to motivate a Saban-coached team.

But was it also a refreshing break from mundane coach speak? Absolutely!

I was neighbors with some Reb players in college. They told me LSU and Auburn were the loudest stadiums. They didn't tell me this, but I'm pretty sure it's because both Jordan Hare and Tiger Stadium are "vertical" and have steep sides, especially when compared to the Vaught and Bryant-Denny.

It was 2009. Your defense was incredible in that game. We couldn't pass the ball at all.

Y'all let a quarterback with a vagina put 49 on your heads each of his last two years?

And his derpy little brother broke their hearts with a meandering 20 yard scamper at Pyle to set up the GOAT kicker in 2011.

Poor Aggy!

I am not going to make fun of Colt. He did great in college and has carved out the ultimate niche of reliable NFL backup QB. The guy has started about 14 games in 12 years in the NFL but has gotten paid millions for the opportunity.

To be fair, he's probably giving props to Alabama and really saying its going to be super difficult considering they gave Kansas their first conference win over two years back in 2016. And they dont exactly have a stellar record in Ames the last decade either...

Serious question for teasip fans:

Does the Pole Assassin perform at halftime at home games? Does she do "special performances" in the locker room? Do the players get to pet her monkey?

Since A&M left the B12 for the SEC, Texas has a 0.375 winning % versus the SEC at a 3-5 record. 3 of your 5 losses are blowouts against middle of the pack SEC teams (Arkansas twice, and Ole Miss).

You have 1 regular season win against the SEC in that span (vs. Ole Miss in 2012, Hugh Freeze's first year as a head coach) and two wins in meaningless bowl games vs. Missouri and Georgia. Yes, Georgia was the Sugar Bowl, but who really cares about bowl wins if they're not playoff games?

Best of luck to you!

Another beautiful lack of self-awareness from this hogs fan

If those bowl games are meaningless, please list out the meaningful bowl games Arkansas has played in, idk, the last 30 years?

He shouldn't have said that, but whatever. Texas is going to win that game.

The Tide plays South Florida the next week. The Alabama defense can afford to sit out the first half against South Florida. Keep up the smack talk tu, right up to game time.
