Probably a great pickup, but this is no longer a coincidence, but a trend, and possibly a rule for Aggie. Look East to Baton Rouge to try and copy LSUs success by buying pieces of it.

I’m glad that we have a coach that is going after other great coaches regardless if it bothers some insecure fans.

Yeah Kelly wanted his guy at S&C. Moffitt was hired by Saban and kept by Les and O.
Kelly has a system and every part of the program fits into it. The way Moffitt ran his S&C was not a fit for what Kelly wanted out of it. Nothing wrong with that. Kelly is maximizing every aspect of the athletic department from nutrition to practice.
A&M got a great hire. But we've seen if Elko doesn't make every part of the program fits than it won't matter. Moffitt can install his system and the players need to be held accountable to put in the effort. O did not do that after 2019. That was more on him than Moffitt. (To be clear, I still have incredible respect for O as well. I don't blame him 100% for the fall.)
