I don't really know how you can separate Manziel from the RBs. A lot of our running plays are designed QB runs. That's running game. We led the SEC in rushing last year. We will probably be between 1-3 this year.
We've been less balanced this year but a lot of that has to do with gameplan. Certainly effectiveness is fine. Malena (our starting RB), not Manziel, is our leading rusher and is averaging 5.8 ypc. We really use 4 backs though so no one gets a lot of carries. Three of those four plus Manziel are all averaging over 5 ypc (the 4th is coming off injury and has looked pretty meh).
Right now we're 28th in the NCAA at 211.3 ypg rushing and average 5.3 ypc. It looks like y'all are 10th at 246.0 ypg but only average 5.1 ypc. Hard to make much of it yet due to schedule though.

Even if we keep it close for 2 or 3 quarters, we don't have any proven homerun hitters and a&m has several.
JFF will have one bomb through the air and a few on the ground that will make this a 3 score game by the beginning of the 4th quarter. Hogs don't have quick strike ability to come back in the 4th. A late arky backdoor cover scares me since it could be a sloppy game but I will still bet the aggies.

sounds like the line moved because a lot of people were pissed they couldn't bring their mascot and all-male review color guard.
