I would not be opposed to this but I really would like to see what Will Wade could do in Knoxville.

I'm not sure why people think Tennessee fans have extremely high standards. For many Vols fans, the biggest criteria is how likely the coach is to say yes.

seriously. texas got too caught up in the bull shite and they think they can go get shaka or marshall. well see, but this could turn out to be a pretty bad move for them

If just getting to the tourney and never winning the conference is your goal... Barnes is the man for you.

Yall haven't won the conference in a while and have just made it out of the first round a couple times since Barnes went to Texas. That never slows down you idiot Hawg posters.

WOTS is that Nick Saban slept with both of them.

I really don't understand the love for Shaka. Everything seems to point to the Final Four being a fluke.

Not sure what Arkansas has to do with this, what the hog fan said was accurate. Barnes has had a ton of talent at Texas and not done much with it

I think it would be a good hire if he would go to Tennessee.

I think Texas fudged up in firing him. Barnes won about 70% of his games, won or shared 3 Big 12 titles, went to the dance 16/17 years. Gave Texas their first two 30 win seasons in their programs history. Took them to their first Final Four since 1947.

Probably Tennessee's best case scenario. Hopefully UT and Bama make quality hires.

When an Arkansas flames another team's expectations with their recent expectations, they can expect some shite talking back. Are you new to the Rant.

I'm with you. I think it would be a solid, but not great hire. Given the limited pool of proven coaches at the moment, I don't think it's a bad option at all.

Curious to see how things start to shape up after Texas makes their move.

Way to respond to my post without addressing the point of what was originally said. What he said wasn't wrong. Barnes has consistently underachieved at Texas. Judging by what seems to be available I don't think he would be a terrible choice though
