I concur.
Think about it - since Saban stepped off that plane and into the loving embrace of Collette Collins (RIP), there have been ZERO 'splash' hires.
For that matter, what would even come close? Nutt to Ole Miss? Petrino to Arky? There just haven't been any.

He is big name but I am not sure he is worth the money. I would offer the money to Dabo first. We do need some big name coaches who can coach in this conference.

Tennersea is going to be so disappointed when they announce their new coach. I don’t know why they think it is such a glorious job, but the epic melt when they announce some no name as head coach is going to be fun to watch.

I would love for Tennessee to hire a top notch coach. I'm flat out bored as a Bama fan. This conference is total shite right now. It's like being a USC fan in the Pac10 under Carroll.

I disagree. CFB is all about recruiting. Not every man especially a successful NFL HC is going to want to stroke the ego of some kid. I don't know if Gruden has the makings of a college coach.
