2 year extension to 2020 and raise from 3M to 3.6Million.

Assistant pool will grow and Butch will allocate it as he sees fit. But those numbers aren't public knowledge yet.

Go Vols!

Pumped to win the East next year then the SEC in 2016!!!

I wish I could get a raise for being mediocre and having a sweet haircut at my job.

Seriously, is there an SEC coach out there who hasn't pulled a big raise in the last 12-18 months?

Is there any team hedging their bets and holding back a little?

I'm disappointed they didn't extend him to 2014. A long term contract, a huge buyout then he gets fired in 3-4 years equals another dumpster fire for Tennessee to deal with.

Go to Hell Tennessee.

If i'm not mistaken, your AD contacted Butch about the head position at your dumpster fire of a program. Butch was left with little when he got here and is already doing big things in his 2nd year. Everybody keep laughing now but the Vols are coming.

When your AD blows his load dancing to "Happy" on a YouTube video, you lose what is called - leverage.

ETA: not the AD, the president

So, are you suggesting that Michigan had no interest and UTAD blindly takes the word of an agent?

Mediocrity awarded again. I should advise my children to go into coaching. A profession in which you can get fired and leave with millions.
