They are still going to get NCAA violations because all the Judge has said is the Boosters and Athletes cant be punished... it says nothing about the school and in all cases as soon as it gets reversed everyone involved will be punished and ineligible. Happened before already in Ohio.

Tennessee is the best in the business at this kind of stuff. It’s kind of impressive. Nothing will happen to them.

Tennessee got a slap on the wrist for Pruitt and nothing will come of this. You don’t know what you are talking about as usual

Directly from the ruling, clueless buffoon.

“ There is no evidence in the record of an impending enforcement action against any school in Tennessee or Virginia. In fact, counsel for the NCAA denied any knowledge of any pending investigations.”

You’re not getting it!! You may want to go read the ruling again. This is a Federal Anti-Trust Lawsuit. Tennessee didn’t pay any recruit dumbass. They are claiming that Spyre sports is a booster, which they are not. Spyre is the Collective that is independent of the University.

The NCAA been investigating UT since December and wasn’t able to find anything on the school. The school handed over thousands of phone records and documents, and the NCAA still couldn’t find anything. That’s when the NCAA got mad and leaked it to the public to try and drag UT through the mud and make them look bad. That’s when the lawsuits came, when it becomes public knowledge. UT was cooperating with the NCAA till they got mad and leaked it to the public when they didn’t find anything.

Once they didn’t find anything, they then “moved the goal post” to try and fit their narrative and then added Spyre as a “booster”. Spyre is an independent company that does not employe any one from the Tennessee athletic department or the school itself. The issues at this is rather a collective is considered a booster of the school or not.

As far as the university goes, they was never served a Notice of Allegations. They have never found anything on UT itself. Did you know that a season ticket holder is considered a donor by the rules, regardless if they ever attended UT or not, or rather they donate or not outside of its obligations of season tickets all year.

You are full retard. UT did not break any rules on NIL, and they haven’t found anything even after reviewing thousands of documents.

Also the NCAA didn’t catch them the first time. It was the school upper brass that contacted the NCAA and turned Pruitt in. UT hired its own investigators and turned all the information over to the NCAA. We have ran a clean program since Plowman and Boyd have took over.

Only if the court does an about face from today's ruling and prior rulings.

The NCAA declaring collectives boosters after the fact in part of why they'll lose this case. The NCAA attempting to rewrite history is precisely why they'll lose. Had they left the years they told everyone (including your school) to follow their own state laws alone and instead focused on regulating the present era with the NEWLY implemented rules, they'd be fine. Instead, they're trying to punish schools with rules that didn't exist at the time by declaring collectives boosters 3 years after the fact.

This would be like the government making it a crime to wear Crimson tomorrow and punishing everyone who had ever worn the color prior to passing that law for wearing it.

Unfortunately for them, they still have to play ball in the fall. Court documents don't count for shite there.

1. For what?

2. Why hasn’t the NCAA sent a Notice of Allegations to UT?

3. You WANT UT to be be punished for folllwing the law. It’s the NCAA that violated federal Anti-Trust Laws, not Tennessee.

4. In order to get an Anti-Trust exemption from Congress like the other pro sports, they will need to unionize and sign actual contracts like the pros.

4. Dartmouth has actually won a lawsuit that states they are employees of the university and should be treated as such and allowed to vote to Unionize. National Labor Board ruled on that.

5. NCAA makes little money off of football. NCAA makes most of its money off basketball and March Madness. The NCAA does not make money off the CFP and has nothing to the do with the CFP.

6. Did you know the head of the NCAA is also UGA president? Could it be that UGA president wants to take out its competitors and that’s why they have gone after Florida and Tennessee and no one else?

7. Go frick yourself!!

How will it ruin college football? Bama fans are mad that they are not able to pay players anymore illegally and get away with it. Alabama fans claiming this will ruin college football, but it fact it’s actually creating parity, which is good for college football. There is more parity now than what there was pre NIL. Now bama fans can’t bank 5* players for years as easily and it has caused Saban to retire.
