I don't like a lot of what appears here, but isn't it everyone's first amendment right to say what they want? Within the law of course. Saban is now a regular citizen, and just because he's wearing pants, he has no reason to disparage what others say. ...

LSU has had 13 seasons of 10 wins or more since the turn of the century. One could say that Saban's arrival had a lot to do with the turn around in success.

The mythical national champions were decided before the bowl games. In other words, the bowls didn't count at all toward final results. This was almost 100 years ago, and coaches and the public thought completely different about the game. General Neyland looked at bowls as a reward for the player...
