It's a shame you're too stupid to understand LSU won the SEC in 2011. 20 years from now, that will ALWAYS be an accomplishment. The BcS will ALWAYS have controversy tied to it. Bama won the do over. You guys have the trophy. You got in there by ESPiN and the absolute bias of the SEC within the BcS.
LSU actually won on the field every game in SEC play. 13-0, SEC West and SEC Champions. There is NO vote inside the SEC. It's there and always will be.

Yep, and by the time I have kids and they're old enough to go to college, nobody will care. Except for LSU fans... which is precisely what I said in my first post.

I played college football, and currently coach at the high school level.
Say what you will about my opinion - but it's not formulated from a "lack of football knowledge"

Just talking about the list of top 10 teams. I am not debating 2007 LSU having 2 losses. I am not debating Bama having 1 loss and being able to be crowned a champ. Simply giving an answer back to a couple of gumps who said "definitively" Bama was a better team. The answers I listed are factual. You can check that LSU won the SEC West and SEC. You can see that LSU beat Bama at home. You can see that LSU had the better schedule.
I know these things are hard for some to understand.

The SEC is the premiere conference and winning it makes you the premiere team in CFB. There are no votes. When you win it, you definitively deserved it. Getting voted into a game is not the same.
I wouldn't have to explain that to you if you actually played sports. Carrying jock straps doesn't count. Playing the flute doesn't count.

I was speaking from a fan's perspective. Do you think SEC fans in 20 years will care anything about the 2011 SEC Championship, when the team that won it was beaten badly at the hands of another SEC school?
Sure, it'll be in the record books. Sure, LSU will still have the trophy. But fans of college football will not care.

But they will care about a trophy from a team who didn't win their conference? Of course they will. And guess who those fans will be? Bama fans. Nobody else GAF. You can close your eyes all you want or bury your head in the sand, but your statement applies to both if you want to make it. I agree with you, nobody outside of the fan bases will care in 20 years. But the players? That's a whole other scenario.

No I really don't. Your welcome to put them on there. I wouldn't put any team that didnt win the conference on there, including 06 LSU, 09 UF and the one the gumps are whining about. It's my opinion don't see why it matters
