Arkansas fans are among the best around....great people.

Arkansas Razorbacks have a great tradition, too....they were the 4th winningest program in college football during the 1960's, including winning the 1964 national title.....had only one losing season from 1959-1989.

Since your Arky relatives won't mention the '78 Orange Bowl.....I will.

What a wipeout by the Razorbacks!

our oldest rivalry with a founding SEC member is Ole Miss

1908 was the first game, and the schedule has been off and on consistent for over a hundred years - 67 games since then

Damn, bruh, way to just totally ignore that 1901 game versus LSU, and the 67 games total between the two teams.

I am hurt.

I spent part of my youth on the AR / OK border and can attest to the accuracy of this statement! I always felt empathy for the Hogs as they were the only non TX team in the SWC. Solidarity with my adopted Hog fan brothers and sisters!

Brandon Burlsworth stepped on his foot

Billy Ratliff from Magnolia, Miss was the Tennessee player who pounded Brandon backward and onto Clint's foot

Billy admitted Brandon dominated him all day, except that play

Mad respect for LSU. I didn't write that very well. I meant that the 67 games since 1908 is the most volume of games we've ever played against a founding SEC member.

LSU is easily number 2 on volume, and yes sir, the oldest

ETA: also 67 games! I missed that. This has been a good informative day.

The gap of not playing in the 70's and 80's was just too wide, I guess is my point

I dunno- one of the fanciest weddings I’ve been to in my 50 years was in Pine Bluff.

Some how this seems like unicorn sighting as I had a few from Pine Bluff on my team (also white) and they were as hard and tough as an iron coffin nail.

Arkansas should have claimed a split NC in 78.

If that fumble would not have existed then Nutt would have found another way to lose that game. He always melts in close games.

Just think if Butch Davis inherited those teams instead of Nutt.

Indeed. None of us were around for all those games up in Shreveport at the old State Fair Stadium.

tFlagship has been leading tRant for about a decade now, even through the Chad Morris years.

I can't imagine this place without tFlagshippers.

Hog fans are pretty unique in that they'll support anything with a Razorback on it.

Basketball, Baseball, Football, Softball, Track, Golf...it doesn't matter the hog fans will turn out.

It gets crazy when Arkansas has a good team or plays a good team. See Texas game last year for a preview of what it will typically be like when OU comes to Fayetteville.

There's no professional sports, so all the fan enthusiasm pretty much goes full on Woo Pig. There are about 16 Arkansas State fans that will try to argue, but even they are pretty half hearted.

We hate Texas with a passion. Therefore we respect and like OU. Expect a knock down drag out war, but we'll always hate Texas more than we will you.

Damn near perfect description.

Ole Miss is the SEC rival no doubt. Losing to them is bitter. April 25th is now pretty much a holiday.

I think the 'enemy of my enemy is my friend' thing with OU we've got going on will sour pretty quickly once they make the move given the proximity, but you're right. It'll never touch Texas.

Razorbacks are underrated. Passionate as any in college sports despite a huge drop off in production recently. They’ll also party with the best of them

My wife grew up in Pine Bluff. I also have a few friends from Arkansas. Had a good friend growing up who's dad played for Arkansas. We used to go up to Fayetteville in the summer and play catch on the field on our way to Beaver Lake. I hope we get to play each other every year. Have a lot of good memories up there.
