Son, you just don't get it.
AU will always be bama's daddy as an institution, university, alumni, and fanbase in general. We will always be better educated, make more money, and win more often at life.
All bama has to try and compare to AU is football.
And even there, bama hasn't measured up in a long time - no matter how much players, high schools, coaches, etc are paid.
AU > bama. The way it has almost always been and always will be most likely.

Preach on brother! Though I will say, their actual graduates are much more tolerable. Have several friends that have graduated from UA. It's the sidewalk alums that ruin it for them.

Yeah, their grads are ok. Know one that is actually very successful.
As a whole though, even their grads are under educated due to severe grade inflation and lower admission standards to begin with. I view their university as on par with a community college education but some of their majors are respectable.

Not our fault nobody wants to go to your shite University. You people were close to not even being accredited less than 10 years ago.

It is absolutely the vast majority in this state. Tis their collegiate NFL team. I respect the few that actually have a real attachment to the institution and pity them at the same time for having to be associated with the trash that migrates to their state team.

At basically the same time your school was close to losing it's football program due to multiple major infractions.

I think the poster who originally said AU was better than Bama was talking about football because, you know, this is a football thread. But when you guys were proven wrong you bring about everything non-FB. You guys act AU is Vanderbilt in academics or something. AU is not much better in academics and neither are the fans more classy or educated. Also I don't think anybody would realitically think AU is better then Bama at FB.

I will admit that Bama probably has a higher percentage of fans that are ignorant among other things but you guys act like the AU fan base is so much better than Bama's. I've met my fair share of classless and seemingly uneducated AU fans who hadn't attended the university either. Most AU fans act a lot like Bama fans and I don't mean that in a bad way.
