You're obviously ignorant of Florida's roster of you think Florida's offense this year can compare to their offense last year.

Better at every single position, deeper at every position, and more experience at every position.

Florida will have a top 50 offense in the NCAA and Del Rio is one of the best QBs in the SEC.

The only thing we know about Luke Del Rio is that he's spent his whole career school-hopping to find a place to start. The skepticism isn't unfair.

Uh, if anything, last year's total stats are the ones skewed too high thanks to the Gators having Will Grier for half the season.

In the first 6 games with Will Grier at QB, Florida averaged 385 total yards per game. In the final 8 games without Will Grier, Florida averaged 296 total yards per game. When you combine it all together, Florida finished the year ranked #112 in Total Offense. But it seems plausible that had Florida not had Will Grier to help puff their stats for the first 6 games, that offense would have ranked somewhere in the #120s at the end of the season.

Now this year... against lowly UMass... Florida comes out with just 363 total yards. UMass could arguably be the worst FBS defense the Gators face all season long.

Well you are off to a bad start. Florida currently ranks #81 in Total Offense after one week, and again, that includes a game against one of FBS' worst teams. You are already in a 100-yard hole to make the Top 50 offenses this season.... as the #50 Offense (Missouri!) has 462 total yards. Florida is 99 yards behind with 363.

Even Missouri, who played a Power 5 opponent on the road, had nearly 100 more yards of offense. And West Virginia had a defense that was ranked #61 last year, compared to UMass who was #104.

Maybe the Minutemen added a bunch of blue chip D-linemen when no one was looking, but I'm having a hard time seeing a Top 50 offense in Gainsville this year.

I would say with Prairie View coming to town, the answer is No. Why, do you foresee a possible loss for your Aggies?

Judging based on your post history, you seem obsessed with telling the world about how bad UF was.

ALABAMA
Yes, Alabama. While I don't give the Hilltoppers any actual chance of winning this game, I think they do have the type of offense that often seems problematic for Alabama

I was kind of expecting this, for this reason. Their offensive style is the main reason we scheduled them. If you're going to play a cupcake, play one that you can gain valuable experience against.

But the difference is, LSU is 0-1 and Florida is 1-0.

And to BHMKyle, quit being obsessed. The Gators offense beat the shite out of UGA with TREON HARRIS. Two years in a row.

Wow. A competent fan who doesn't see every observation about his or her team as a personal attack. Arky, Aggie, and Gator fans could learn something from you.

And of all the 5 teams mentioned, Bama is absolutely the LEAST likely to lose. But even their fans realize that WKU could pose some matchup issues. Gator fans can't believe anyone would not recognize their team as an offensive juggernaut.... Aggie fans can't fathom why anyone might expect their team to falter down the stretch of a season... and Hog fans can't understand why beating La Tech by 1 point might cause some folks to scratch their head.... its like they all fell asleep and missed their teams' games from the past year +

While not very good, Kentucky is a much better team that UMass. And UMass gave the Gators all they could handle last Saturday. I'm not sure Florida has the offense to put up more than 21 points on any SEC team. If Kentucky has success moving the ball, they might just win this game. Again, like Mississippi State, all the pressure is on the Gators in this one.

You make it sound like UK should beat UF easily but UF is a 16 point favorite . That sounds like easy money if you actually believe the bull crap your posting. How is all of the pressure on UF ? UK has to win a game soon or they will be looking for a new coach. This game means almost as much to UK as it does to UF.

For Gods sake...doesnt anyone watch entire videos? Scores are very misleading

UMass had 46 yds rushing total @ 1.3 yds a carry and a TOTAL of 180 yds of offense....our defense creamed them and as stated too many times...their one score came on a drive with 35 yds of flags helping them past midfield or they would been shutout....got it?

UF threw 49 passes in what was basically a scrimmage to give Del Rio plenty of reps to prepare for later on. Our run game was 29 carries...we could have ran the ball over and over and planted them into the ground...but again we emptied the bench early and subbed a lot of true frosh and second teamers....the only players not subbed for were the QB, FG kicker (3/3 all 40yders),punter (44.5 avg)....again this was a scrimmage and I never once thought we were in danger of losing and I have watched a helluva lot more football than most here.

Against UK we will probably reverse the pass/run ratio, but no matter what...our defense is real city. our OL is still gelling and against legit competition we will see how they do.

As for being "on guard" all teams playing SEC foes should be on guard...but since its at the Swamp, UK may find our defense a little saltier than Southern Miss's....just a hunch.

LSU

Jacksonville State - ranked 5th in FCS. Good team. Almost beat Auburn last year.
