Don't you understand? Arkansas is like George Washington or Thomas Jefferson, etc. We are on top. Missouri is more of a Ralph Nader.

Tell me who you would rather be, president 20 years ago or also-ran your whole life??

What 'rivalry' does Arkansas have that people care about nationally?
Or regionally for that matter?

There's a few things we at tFlagship don't do.

1) Ask another man what he thinks about our wardrobe.

2) Enter a port city without antibiotics and provalactics.

3) Lose to Missouri in Basketball or when we don't have an interim coach.

4) Approve a rivalry application.

So one game was a good match up? That makes it the best rivalry on earth??

Sigh.

Mizzou and Illinois have both been in the Top 25 for the past three consecutive years when they've met.

At least one of the two teams has been ranked in the Top 25 for 25 of the 32 total Braggin' Rights games.

So yeah, its pretty much always been relevant to the national landscape. You will have to learn to deal with that. Good luck in the endeavor.

Behavior from Arkansas people in this thread (and board in general) is beyond normal online forum bantering.. this is a display of actual psychotic behavior.

None, rivalries are regional.

Even Yankee's Red Sox anymore, people outside those area's bitch ESPN shows every fricking game and can't stand.

No one cares, few people even care about Duke UNC outside that area. frick both teams IDGAF don't even watch if there is an SEC game on.

Rivalries are way overblown on a national level, no one really cares but fans of the teams in the game.

Check any list you can google about top college basketball rivalries. Mizzou-kansas was always on just about any Top 5 or Top 10 list that people made nationally. That's just a reality. Dick Vitale, CBS Sports, whatever you name it and Mizzou-ku is there. Again, sorry that you have to deal with that reality. Good luck in doing so.

Wow, you seem good with numbers. How about you pull up the TV data which will actually back up or destroy your claim of national attention.

Ranked teams play all the time, doesn't mean the nation watches and doesn't mean it is the best rivalry in the history of college sports

Dude, you guys need us just as much as we need you.

There's no other explanation for what's been happening on these boards.

The hatred/respect is there, now we just let the magic happen.

A lot of people I know don't even watch college basketball until March or close to March, including a bunch of Mizzou fans.

Especially on a national level in December during bowl season.

You have a few people that married into the family. We have all the benefits in Bentonville, Rogers, etc. We enjoy the economic benefits of the largest retailer in the world, you just claim being original home of the founder.

You've never had a true rival, and we're here and we're gonna frick you up in the first season of said rivalry.

We had a rivalry in our SWC days. And nobody in Arkansas, the land of a tradition rich basketball program, gives a frick about Missouri. Only a few of us internet fans talk much about Mizzou at all.

Ark Mizzou will never be a big rivalry even regionally if we don't play yearly in football, won't happen.

About as exciting as OU-OSU rivalry. Nobody cares if one team is doing all the winning.

Ok, then why do y'all give a frick about trolling us?

The foundation is laid. It's an obvious rivalry, granted an empty one, but it's there.

Y'all are just pissed that its gonna get handed to you in year one.

I get it. It's all good, it stings.

Sam was a smart guy, he left Columbia for NWA. Broyles did, Anderson did, and Pinkel will when we hire him as Sommelier in the new dining hall.

We don't respect your program. I don't know how we can make it any clearer.
