We were ranked number 1 in 2012, and AU was ranked number 3 last year. People give TAMU shite, but those wins on the road were as impressive as any road win by any SEC team that I can remember, considering the circumstances and expectations.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of any comparable victories as of recent. What about yall?

Yeah, I fully believe the capability is there. I believe Sumlin is still learning and is on the right path to be a great coach. It was unfortunate that our team quit in those few games last year, as it was evident in JH that we have some fight in U.S. I believe that's more a reflection on trill hill more than the coaching staff.

The also had two losing streaks of at least two games. Very uneven season for the Farmers. I suspect they will be a game better this year.

And I expect LSU to be a game worse. It's going to be a fun season.

That Auburn win was literally astounding at the time. They (specifically Kyle Allen) looked like shite against ULM the week before. I don't think anyone besides projectpat thought A&M had any shot at beating Auburn

I'm impressed with your ability to shoehorn LSU into literally any thread.

Texas A&M didn't win Alabama beat themselves and Auburn beat themselves to! Nobody ever beat Alabama , Alabama always beats themselves

That Bama game was ridiculous. I was watching with a PAC 12 fan and that whole game we were sitting there amazed what was transpiring. Unbelievable win.

Here's to another great season

Which is why I laugh at preseason predictions on here that have us last in the West.

By calling them "Farmers," are you trying to insult them?

Most predictions I've seen have you guys around 4-5, which is fair IMO. 3-7 is pretty much a tossup

I don't think so. We are literally the Fighting Farmers.

I want to blame it on the freshman QB, but the whole team was that way. They seemed to pull it together after the pre-season Heisman winner, Kenny Trill was benched for drunkenness. We had losses to LSU and Mizzou, but they were not bad games.

Flames aside, this really is the truth, and last year it was compounded with youth. Although Auburn ended up sputtering down the stretch pretty much everyone thought we were going to fricking murdered in that game, including myself. Winning that one showed me the talent was there at least

Sure that is where the media puts us. That range is completely fair. But that is not what I am talking about.

I am talking about Ole Miss, MSU and Arky fans on here who have taken off their socks to do the math only to realize that A&M HAS TO hug the bottom of the conference for them to have the kind of year they expect, nay deserve, to have.
