Honestly wouldn't La Tech be better off with this game being pushed back a bit. Isn't A&M's bye the week before LSU. They would be beat up a little bit by then and could be looking ahead to LSU.
Either way, I do like LT's shot. I know I will be rooting for yall in that game and all season long. It would be great to have two LA teams in the BCS.

Yeah, it could be windy (but not hurricane force) in Shreveport, but the bigger problem if it tracks far enough west is torrential rains. If you are in that 'right front quadrant' you get rain like a mofo, and the possiblity of weak spin up tornadoes. Still nasty to try to play a ball game in.

The big issue is evacuees from South LA.. more so than weather, this will be the driving factor in the game being rescheduled.

Most have been back for a long time now. Metro New Orleans population is basically the same now as it was pre-Katrina. Metro Baton Rouge has grown substantially since Katrina.

You better believe it. Most of those people are still in Houston dealing drugs and knocking over liquor stores. Please go back to LA, you have overstayed your welcome.

God I hope it rains and that there is mud everywhere. That is one of my favorite things about football is that it is played in essentially any weather.

I fricking hate indoor stadiums

There are rumblings of the game being moved to the cotton bowl. All tickets would be GA.

Just saw where the mayor of NO said under no circumstances will the Superdome be opened as a shelter again. Obviously City Hall isn't completely stupid. They learned from that mistake.

Good lord..... The masonry and window frames wouldnt support the weight to the plywood on the outside.

So.....everything other building I have ever seen boarded up has been able to support the weight on the outside but, for some reason, buildings in College Station have extraordinarily weak exterior walls & super strong interior walls?

Why would someone build a building like this?

From a selfish standpoint, I think any postponment of this game is good for UF. It would either give TAM less days off prior to our game with them, and if the game was rescheduled, that would leave TAM no warm up game to see what they have prior to playing the Gators.

With that being said I hope and pray everywhere the storm hits is ok in the end and no one gets hurt.

It should rain in the AM and be cleared out by the evening, but it will likely be windy the entire day and for the game.

BTW, ticket sales are not going well. They're hoping for a big walk up crowd but this could be as low as 30K for the game.

Hey Kaiser, how come so few students from AM coming up? I read where they returned half the allotment.

I've heard it's because the majority of A&M ticket sales were bought through La Tech in order to get better seats. BTW I've never seen a fanbase get so much crap for not selling out the OPPOSING team's stadium for a Thursday night game, BEFORE the game has even been played.

Yea, the ticket sales are pretty sad overall. I have my tickets and will be there rain or shine
