I’m a diehard LSU fan but… a walk-on flipping the bird? Who cares? When they tell us we don’t have class, they’re just saying we have a better football team. Nobody cared how much class LSU had until we started raping their teams in the early aughts.

Sad, because the LSU people I know in real life are quality folks, but the general population that fills Death Valley is one of the worst in the SEC.

The story I read was that he was just trying to do 1 finger on one hand, and 2 fingers on the other hand, to represent "12", as in he was paying homage to the "12th man" fans. Only he had forgotten that the index finger on his left hand had been amputated from an accident as a child....
No explanation however was given as to why he now had a bloody bandage on the stump of his left index finger immediately after the game....

Lived in Houston for many many years. Believe me I’ve seen the worse to the best of the fan bases in College Station, Lubfrick, Houston and Crunchy Granola Ville (Austin).
