By far Mark Wahlberg's best performance. For most of the movie (outside of the "Gator" pimp flashbacks) Ferrel plays the straight guy and Wahlberg gets all the great lines and laughs.

Snyder has a great eye for images and shoots action well (if you like slo-mo, which I do). He just sucks as a writer and editor. He'd be better off as a hired hand for popcorn action movies, just don't give him final cut and keep him away from the script. ...

I hope we see Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis, though I expect they've "moved on". Pretty sure no one is touching Jeffrey Jones with a 10 ft pole - that's probably him getting lowered into the ground....
