I don't think I have heard Sumlin or Kliff even call their offense the Air Raid. Its all been the media and people on Texags. Sumlin is not stubborn. Kliff is one of the bright, young offensive minds out there. He has a good resume, obviously where he played, who we played for, and the coaches he has been around. Dana Holgerson uses a lot of pistol and even lines up under center.

The Air Raid definitely seems like a misnomer. I wouldn't be surprised to see all sorts of pistol, diamond, etc. to get the best players on the field. I fully expect Trey Williams to line up in the slot a fair amount as well. At this point nobody knows what our offense will look like and I like that

Exactly. It will be very, very interesting to see how it all works out!

People talk about up tempo and I thought we were really fast last year. Boy, Sumlin has sure blown my mind with how fast the offense will be moving. I don't think the SEC has seen that, asides from LSU playing Oregon last year.

Ok. We have 3 true freshmen pushing a heisman finalist for PT. Our backup safeties have actually both played and produced more than loston, the #1 safety out of hs a few years ago.

Our elite guys don't redshirt on defense, ever.

They're too good.

I think Gaines would make it, but he's likely the only one.

Doubt it. Alabama is strong, but I think LSU has got it this year. Keep talking trash. 3 Big 12 Division Titles will get you far around here.

I commend you on your optimism Missouri. Its kind of like the guy running the 400 meters with giant paper clips for legs.......he believes in himself and so does his country but then the real racing begins...

Ok....I will add something. Stars, bars, cars, who the hell cares? A lot of three star athletes beat up four star athletes all the time. Gee I wonder how many stars the Iowa State athletes had against the mighty OSU Cowboys? Iowa St beat Northern Iowa by 1 point...loss to Texas & Baylor by 23 points. Bama fans pay attention because Iowa St did you a big favor. Its just goes to show you why there is a town with ritzy hotels in the middle of Nevada desert.

EJ Gaines first team All-Big 12 cornerback last year,

This is like getting straight A's in community college. Looks nice and pretty but when you step up to the big leagues it doesn't mean shite.

You're right, we played an incredibly soft schedule last year...
