Not knocking the hogs, but take your second loss of the weekend like a big boy.

This Arkansas team has a much better pitching staff than the one back in 2021.

Kopps was the best in the nation but the rest of the mediocre pitching staff wore him down in the supers. His team let him down.

Arkansas 21 NC State 2
NC State 6 Arkansas 5
NC State 3 Arkansas 2

How in the world did the bats get so cold so fast?

It happened again the next year.

Arkansas 17 Stanford 2

Ole Miss 13 Arkansas 5

Arkansas 11 Auburn 1

Arkansas 3 Ole Miss 2

Ole Miss 2 Arkansas 0

This A&M team has much better pitching than the 1989 squad. Still, a long way to go

Ole Miss was the best team in the nation that year period.

It is not what you do during the regular season but what matters is what is done in Omaha. They knew they were the best team in the nation that year and the proof was winning the CWS and not a participation trophy.

I took the little guy to Omaha in 2022 during Schloss’ first year at A&M. A&M was a good scrappy team that year. A feel good story playing over their heads to get there. But that team didn’t have nearly the same talent as they do this year.

Coincidentally, I saw Arkansas play in Omaha that 2022 year and I thought they were going to win it all. Stacked lineup.

But Ole Miss just got some legendary pitching performances and were peaking at the right time. So they won it all.

Regular season is just preamble.

Are you 100% sure? I know they had like 6 hitters play at the next level

I stand corrected, it was 7 hitters. Those 7 combined for a .363 batting average

I don’t want to talk about how LSU hasn’t won in Knoxville since 2016, but I would like to compliment the young arms of LSU—a lot of arm talent on the roster imo

I don't know anything about LSU's roster but I like learning about other teams so please feel free to drop names and stats.

IMO our top performing freshman, is a hitter and 3B that's named Gavin Gravohac. He's hitting .315, 12 HR, 40 RBI
