I was around before you were and this team is better than '89.

Pitching is better and Ben McDonald ain't playing anymore.

None of that changes the fact that one of the best college baseball teams of all time never made the CWS.

If you are curious, you are one of the douchenozzles everyone is moaning about in this thread. Go take your fiber and take a nap grandpa. Come back in late June.

I will take the hot team over the best team in the CWS. Hot teams peaking at the right time make shite happen and find a way to win.

They can get it to. However, I won’t be back until we sweep LSU late in the season.

Absolutely this.

There is a ton of season left. Gotta play the games to see how the chips fall. Don't want to peak too early.

So, you rather see your team lose some games now and hope to win them later on.

Yes I would, not ashamed at all to admit it. A long winning streak is rat poison. Pressure mounts, etc.

What melt are you talking about unless melt is gay speak for aggie having to take pleasure in other team’s losses because no one cares about their programs.

Let me explain something about baseball to you since you are new to this, no team is going undefeated and teams have ups and downs, no big deal.

You’re making your fanbase look stupid.

The gatekeeping and goalpost moving coming from Arkansas is really funny. Keep it up.

Yall warned us that we wouldn’t keep it up after a soft OOC schedule. No one could dare question Arkansas and their flawless schedule. Blah blah blah.

Yall act like royalty but let’s have a real discussion here. You’ve made it exactly 1 game farther than us in Omaha. Over the last 15 years yall have been to Omaha 5x while we’ve been 3x. The gap ain’t that wide and you’ve never reached the peak either.

Farmer is probably one of the most educated baseball posters we got.

And I agree with him, bring on the #1

Good series, Hawgs. We needed that in a bad way.

SEC baseball may be even more brutal than SEC football. Any given weekend the best team can get beat

I've watched college baseball in 3 different parks. MLB in 7 different parks. I won't say what year it was that I watched my first game. But I'll say this, one of the most iconic pitchers the game has ever seen took the mound that day against the A's and won in extras

I'm not sure Arkansas is the best team in the SEC.

I would put them in the top three.

They got some hard road games at Carolina, Kentucky and A&M.

Two years ago about this time of the year, Arkansas was in a very good position to get a national seed. Then they got swept and had a late season slump.

Arkansas went from a potential national seed to going on the road to a regional in North Carolina.

Arkansas made it to Omaha and tied for third in the CWS. Going by that metric, Arkansas was top 5 that year despite not winning the West or the SEC.

Then last year Arkansas won the West and tied Florida for the SEC. But TCU showed up and gave Arkansas the case of the Roy D. Mercer red arse. Arkansas was a paper tiger and clearly wasn't the best team in the SEC that the record said they were.

Can’t forget 2021 when hogs won every single series just to lose at home in the supers when the offense went flat while we had the best pitcher in college baseball in Kopps. Baseball can absolutely rip your heart out. Also the 2018 team that dropped the foul ball in the natty game lost every single sec road series. Ole Miss wasn’t impressive in 2022, but then they got hot in regionals and rode the momentum all the way to the end
