Uh. Oh. Shitstorm coming.
quote:

Hart told former women's basketball head coach Pat Summitt that she would not be coaching the team during the 2012-13 season.

The document included a sworn affidavit from Summitt, corroborating the original suit's claim of the aforementioned meeting between Summitt and Hart, which took place on March 14, the day before the team traveled to Chicago to begin the NCAA tournament.

Summitt said that she told several people about the meeting, including Jennings.

quote:

In response to the suit's claim involving Summitt, UT spokesperson Margie Nichols last Thursday said, "that statement is absolutely not true. It was Pat's idea to be head coach emeritus."

It is difficult dealing with a Alzheimers victim, the memory can't be trusted.

Also, one can take advantage of the situation.

bullshite.

She was going to retire anyways.

Has anyone seen her when she's made her public appearances? She looks so lost...it's sad.

If this is true, then frick. frick. frick. frick.

It will be a PR mess on ESPN.

Me personally? Not bothered.

Quote by a user on FL98 about this.

Lol at anyone who thinks hart is going to mess around with Dooley if he is even on the fence about him. He will be the fricking resurrection of UT sports.

I concur.

Hart could not force Summitt to do anything the PTB at UT do not agree with.

If true, then good for him. It's possible given her situation that she wouldn't recognize the right time.
