I would even feel safe letting you pick the six. ACC football is like watching Canadian Football. They wear uniforms and helmets, play with a football and play on a field. But you know overall the quality of play is nowhere near the NFL.

Their team was Deshaun Watson the last two years, he gone. This year reality sets in and they know it. That's why they're talking shite while they still can...

The ACC always comes down to Clemson or FSU, it's the same in the SEC it always comes down to a team in their own division winning head to head. The SEC is top heavy, they have historical great teams that had historical great players and all that, but the past few years it just hasn't been that. There are still a lot of really good skill players and great talent come through the schools in the conference, but that's the case in every conference! And Auburn probably win the ACC a few years, just like they win the SEC every few years when the right group of transfers come through and play a year for them. But the last few years, they couldn't have beat Clemson or FSU so they couldn't win the ACC. They would still play a few SEC teams OOC, just like the ACC teams do now, and take those usual losses and end up with the usual 4-5 losses every season, just like I said earlier

I wouldn't say that.

Clemson was really good when they had Tajh Boyd.

Lol did it all by himself, it was fun to watch too. I loved it when he would make a big sack on 3rd down or a big hit on a run, or get an interception to put the game away, or a forced fumble..all that stuff that wins games....

He sure was fun to watch for sure

The SEC has led the country in draft picks for 11 years in a row. This past year, the SEC finished with 10 more draft picks than the ACC. Over the last 5 years, the SEC has had nearly 250 draft picks. The next closest conference - the ACC - has had about 180.

There is a drastic difference in top to bottom talent between the SEC and ACC - and that certainly makes a huge difference over the course of a season.

I will say it again, the disparity of the teams in the ACC allows a Clemson to look like world beaters. When you play two to three good teams, you can rest players, practice lighter, experiment with game plans. The BCS was a problem for the ACC, because the press knew these issues. The Playoff makes it so Clemson or FSU essentially gets byes in the regular season.

Right, then when they play SEC teams they can magically flip a switch before the game that increases all of their strength, speed and agility numbers that makes them compete and even sometimes win

The Big 12 similar to the ACC in that respects. Look how many times they have been left out of the NC picture with similar records.

Coming from a fan whose program hasn't seen relevancy since their pussy QB got hurt on the first series nearly 10 years ago.

This.

There is a difference. It doesn't mean Clemson 2017 wasn't a great team. It also doesn't mean Clemson 2017 would have had the same record in the SEC. They had a ton of talent last season. DW still was the difference between a great season and bragging rights for life. They deserve the credit. They played a tough schedule...Auburn, FSU, USCe and Bama plus the rest of the ACC.

Pretty safe to say that Louisville, Virginia Tech, NC State, and probably Georgia Tech were all better wins than Scar last year, probably a couple others
