Question to the rant...

Would you feel comfortable with the former coach, who is a college football legend and has a relationship with the current AD and is a "university ambassador", hanging around watching your practices?

Not a big deal?

I don't have an opinion on it.

I think you should want Spurrier hanging around as much as possible. He might rub off on Muschamp. Same goes for Muschamp. It's not like Spurrier is coming for his job.

I don't know about a problem, but it certainly isn't out of the norm

Muschamp needs all the help he can get. That guy is a joke and no way he could be fun to play for. If I were Will, I would be on my knees begging or sucking to keep spurrier around.

If the former coach left for a different school then I'd have a problem with it but Spurrier retired there so I don't think it's that big of a deal.

Not a big deal if he just pokes his head in every now and then to see how things are going. But I could see it becoming a bigger deal if he starts hanging around more. Muschamp seems like a control freak who would hate to have someone like Spurrier looking over his shoulder.

If this is true, I will cut off my left nut, saute it, and eat it myself

Personally, I wouldn't want it. an ex coach needs to stay ex. Nobody, in his mind will do things they way he would do it. It only adds to the pressure Muschamp has on him.

Not identical situations, but he was at a UF practice last week, Mac embraced it and handled the questions well.

Spurrier quit on his team.

Muschamp should not want that with his team. I do believe that Muschamp could learn a lot from Spurrier however I still come back to the fact that Spurrier quit.

A player can't quit and expect to win, why should a coach?

USC fans should be elated Steve is hanging around. Steve saw Muschamp turn Florida into a dumpster fire and wants to make sure Muschamp doesn't do the same thing to USC
