The HBC and Boom are pretty good friends ... so no, I have no problem with it whatsoever.

And all of Spurrier's players love him - never had a problem with him as their HC. It was a few of the assistants they had a problem with that last year, all of which are now gone.

It's good for the HBC to stick around.

BTW, he's also visited McElwain's practice at Florida FWIW.

Not a big deal. He left on his own terms. If he'd gotten canned after an 0-12 season and was hanging around practices this season that would probably piss me off, were it my team.

Personally, I wouldn't want it. an ex coach needs to stay ex. Nobody, in his mind will do things they way he would do it. It only adds to the pressure Muschamp has on him.

Kind of the way I feel. In a year or two, it would be less of a deal. Give Muschamp a chance to create his own program.

I wouldn't want a quitter hanging around and rubbing off on my team.

If this does prove to be true, I beg you, don't post a video where you carry through on that.

Steve saw Muschamp turn Florida into a dumpster fire and wants to make sure Muschamp doesn't do the same thing to USC

We were 3-9 last year and lost to The Citadel. That is pretty damn near dumpster fire level

Steve probably waiting for chance to OBC on him for what he did to Florida. Watch Boom will start yelling at some back up FS while his team trails 17-0, and all of the sudden "thwack" down goes Muschamp half dollar sized divot in his thick skull with the reverse imprint of a "Head Ball Coach" emblazoned Titleist 2 clearly showing on his scalp. Off in the middle distance is a high-pitched cackle and soft "click clack".

It's a bit odd but since Steve is retired it isn't a big deal. However, it's not like he's gunning for the job.

At any rate, if you want to hear some even weirder Steve Spurrier news... Spurrier will be awarded the Robert Neyland Award this spring AND he will be given the award at the Orange and White game.

Maybe he could teach Muschamp how to coach.

Just keep a sixer of coors original tallboys on hand and if he gets too close chunk one over the fence.
