Incorrect, what he actually did was toss the ball back to the referee who was standing out of bounds at the 1 or 2. So while yes it should have been reviewed, it would have been LSU's ball at the 1 or 2. I have a hard time believing they wouldn't have scored anyways. The AJ Green call was a big factor though so you at least got that right.

bama fans are always bringing up that they get less penalities because of Saban's genius. Funny, he was no genius when coaching LSU, and, yes, he had talent then, too. I am curious, though, when Shaw admits to his refs getting calls wrong, if there is a certain crew/s that is worse than the rest and what if anything is done to those that rank amongst the worst. I am no believer in any conspiracy, I just accept that the richest conference in the country has such a large number of incompetent refs.And thst does reflect on Shaw & the job he's doing.
