No it doesn't, though "the best team doesn't always win" is a true statement.
Also "officials get calls wrong"!? OMG stop the presses! This needs to be a headline in Most Obvious Statements In History Times this week.

Both officials were blocked from seeing Patrick Peterson interception in 2009 game, so the officials did not see what happened, why did they say it wasn't an interception if they weren't Bama biased

quote:Claim it if you wish and see where that gets you. In the 9-6 game, Bama went on to prove they were the best team. What has LSU proven in the aftermath of the LSU/Bama showdown this year? LSU fricking fell apart and let Bert get his first SEC victory in a shutout.
Bama can claim game of century win if they want because I claimed this year game a win for LSU

So can we start saying Ole Miss beat Bama 23-10 now?

If Mike Slive is there he will support Nick Saban to get the SEC to the big $$$ bowls. Sucks for LSU because they would have 3 more national titles if they kept Saban and Alabama would have zero.

You can tell yo great grandchillens how Ol Miss defeated the Crimson Tide 74-0 one year when the Tide went on to win another Champeenship.

I think 9-6 is proof alone that the best team doesn't always win.

Alabama beats Ole Miss 10 games in a row and wins 3 national championships in the process.
Ole Miss wins one regular season game, in a season Alabama wins the West and is #1 in the country again.
Clearly THEY have the braggin' rights.

Can LSU fans just let this go. The solutions to fix this"problem" isn't going to change. Officials miss calls and the better team loses to the weaker team...duh. The call on Vadal isn't close to being in the PP non interception call. Others accuse LSU fans of being whiney bitches about the refs...just keep feeding them.

What's insane about LSU fan's obsession with the PP non-int is that even if it's called an INT LSU still probably loses the game anyway.
Besides, officiating variance is just one of the many factors that goes into the better team sometimes not winning.
Other high variance factors:
1. Injuries
2. Luck of the 50/50 bounces on fumbles, touchbacks, that sort of thing.

Yes. Why, yes it is.

You need to look up the word "definition" in the dictionary.
There's no nuance to that claim. If officials consistently got calls wrong for the worse team, or if the calls failed to materially affect the outcome, that means your definition is lexicographically useless.

OK IAM if the call was correct LSU may have lost, but they didn't have a chance to win really after that. I'm not one to bitch about officials.
Remember when Webster(LSU) pulled down a bama receiver in the end zone and intercepted the pass. The play stood and it was a horrible call...about 10 years ago. LSU won comfortably, but if Bama scores there it may or may not have turned out different. If you are "reality" , you have seen many examples of this. Please!!!

Those two words don't mean what you think they mean.
