Riiiight....
You mean like the attrition of 12 assistant coaches? That transfers weren't all linked to off-field issues at all but the kids simply didn't want to play for Krag and what he did to said coaches? Get your heads out men... Lies and spin won't work here.

The best thing about Krag is that he and Les have the same offensive philosophy. Both like to run to set up the pass, hopefully no more short side option

I really don't care one way or the other but I am a bit surprised that many LSU Fans think this is a good hire. Time will tell.

Incredible.

Oh by the way, Kragthorpe walked into a program which had won 68 games in the last seven seasons, been to nine straight bowl games, finished sixth in the nation in 2004 and 2006, and was returning 17 starters and an All-American quarterback from a team that had just gone 12-1 and won the Orange Bowl.
Under his watch, the Cardinals won 15 games and lost 21, failed to make a postseason appearance, compiled a record of 5-16 in the Big East, and gone a combined 1-8 against the once-dominated trio of Kentucky, Connecticut and Syracuse.
As for the new regime, I guess Charlie Strong gets a 4 year pass for Petrino's mess as well. Finishing 7-6 Charlie? Blame it on Bobby...

+1000. I hope to never see LSU run this play ever again. Krags tear this play out of the playbook!

Charlie Strong won't do as bad as Kragthorpe did at UL. Strong is pulling S. Fl talent away from UM.
Strong has some of the best assistants on his staff at UL and they all recruit very very well.

You keep your head in the sand about Petrino as long as you want.
Regardless, just because someone is a bad head coach has next to nothing to do with their abilities as a coordinator. See: Wannstedt, Dave; Weis, Charlie, etc. etc.
Kragthorpe is solid.

@ Crowton and Addazio's love for the short side option. One thing LSU and UF fans can rejoice in is offensive change.

Solid OC hire in my opinion. Debating how Kragthorpe did as HC is senseless. Not everyone is cut out for the top job, doesn't mean that can't be a good OC or Position Coach.

If I never see this play run again, it will be too soon. It was a wasted down and a big reason why our offense was 90 something ranked.

SK called those plays brothah... That's immaterial to, umm, calling plays at LSU?
