Interesting. I think it'll improve your offense somewhat.

That same coach took a Petrino BCS Bowl winning team to 15-21 immediately. Sorry if we all aren't pissing ourselves with fear.

Kragz is a shitty head coach

Petrino is a shitty person

Seriously, in what way shape or form does Kragthorpes HC failure have anything to do with his coordinator abilities?

well his head coaching ability at Louisville is certainly relevant as offensive coordinator at LSU

This is a good hire. The mess in Louisville wasn't Kragthorpe's fault, and he's a fine offensive coordinator.

agreed. anything better than Addazio and Crowton.

I think this is a homerun. I'm not happy at all. This, actually:

Well thanks.. but i'm not sure it was a home run. It may be a double though.. and at this point in the game.. even a single is a runner on base.

Kragthorpe didn't help, but he had to clean up after his predecessor.

Isn't it commonly accepted that Petrino recruited quite a few 'problem players' who were great athletes. When kragz came along, lots of attrition, plus few incoming recruits, etc.

I don't care about his head coaching ability. I care about his ability to call an offense, which he has proven he can do numerous times.

Btw, how's the loss to Ohio St hanging? I don't think anyone else in the SEC really knows how it feels.

Seems like Les wants to have the final say in your offense.

As any head coach does when you get right down to it. Les doesn't micro-manage any more than Meyer or Saban. All head-coaches interject from their areas of expertise when necessary.

By no means am I saying Kragthorpe will be a bad OC, but he did call the plays at UL when the offense sputtered there.
