Dude did a cycle of steroids over the summer. Congrats? QBs don't really benefit much from the added bulk. He'll continue to be average or below average.

Uf got worse in 2007 because talent matured?

This “everyone can get better but Bennett” story you are working on is hilarious.

Not one of those coaches were scared of Stetson.

They were afraid of Davis, Nakobe, Carter, Trayvon, Quay, Tindall, Wyatt, Cine, etc. As they should have been. Stet is the modern day Buck Belue. Belue had Herschel, Stet had a generational defense.

It's embarrassing that Stetson Bennet is the starting QB at UGA and not an insurance salesman in bumfrick South GA.

Generational for uga maybe and with a weak schedule. It didn’t look generational in the SEC title game

What in the hell are you talking about? They got much better. 2007 - 2008, bud.

You're operating on a strawman. Of course Bennett got better, he was very bad the year prior.

I'm confused, are you suggesting Stetson's 224 yard of passing won the game? Or the fact that UGA's defense denied the Heisman Trophy winner the end zone except for the gift turnover and a clear push off by Latu in the endzone?

Uga 2020 O improved to 2021 much more than uf 2007 O improved to 2008.

Based on what?

He did a great job against Georgia last year. He had nothing to do with that loss.

Your example was not factually correct. Uf barely improved statistically. Uga greatly improved statistically. It was a bad comparison.

How do you quantify his play to objectively compare?

I can only lead the horse to water.

Let me try again and hopefully you'll follow.

You asked how the team could have gotten better given it was "mostly the same guys."

This is moronic. Mostly the same guys get better every single year, in fact it's the ideal. I simply gave an example for my team of "mostly the same guys" greatly improving.

I don't know how you ended up thinking it was a comparison between 2008 Florida and 2021 Georgia.

Your example did not do that.

No wonder you struggle with context.

I didn’t. We are comparing improvements for each. Only one greatly improved

Great, use your example, or any of the hundreds of examples of "mostly the same guys" getting better year over year.

That's the point. "Mostly the same guys" can improve greatly. Bennett improved, the team around him improved. But he isn't a top 3 QB in mine and a lot of others' opinions.

You're free to disagree. At this point I don't care, you're willing to say the team around him didn't improve much to convince yourself he's an elite qb and I'm not interested in arguing against that idiocy anymore.

Enjoy!

Agreed.

The University of Georgia didn't have a 300 yard passing QB until the loss in the SECCG last year. Yet this mouth breather posts on here while reading the instructions on the shampoo bottle.
