Bennett had a dream season.
Now SEC defensive coaches have a year of film to analyze and gameplan against him. They mistakenly were not as concerned about him last year. It will not happen again and Bennett will fade to the middle of the SEC stat wise.

Seem like some UGA fans are trying to justify this guy playing while other perhaps more talented sit on the bench.
Besides that, admiring some "swole" guy is just weird.

You make SEC defensive coaches sound like a fairly dumb group of people. They didn’t have any film on a guy who had started a half dozen or more games for UGA and an entire season of Juco?

THey are not dumb but not infallible either. He had thrown less than 200 passes going into last season and his own team had him as the backup to start the season.

He started games against 5 SEC opponents in 2020 that he again faced in 2021.

nto this year. Last year people wanted JT and they'd have an arguemnt. This year who would we want that's currently on the bench? The sophomore that hasn't seen anything besdies mopup duty? The freshman that hasn't seen antying besides a few snaps? The true freshman that hasn't played a down?
Stetson is clearly our guy this year.
