Don't you hate that MSU now has Libby as their HC?

OM has looooong thought of Lebby as who they’d hire if Kiffin ever leaves. They saw him up close and hated losing him as an OC.

Offense was extremely crisp for the high tempo we ran, made hardly no errors or penalties. Impressive for such a short time for Lebby to implement

I was at the game and the Baylor QB looked sharp. A small RB #15 (I think) looked good and there were several receivers catching passes.
Impressed with the crowd size.

I’m loving the Lebby hire. I think our ceiling is 6 or 7 wins, but he is a very smart guy that I think will get maximum effort and he will squeeze every ounce of ability we have on the field. Great hire.

Don't forget the manager is in his first year. Next year he will get the team to play better with better players and this Mizzou team did play better so far than last year's team. I am loving the Drinkwitz hire. It took him so long because he couldn't recruit mostly 4* and 5* players due to being unknown and the NIL wasn't there at that time and now he is picking up better players and able to hire the right assistants. This is what MSU fans will be happy with their HC since he will elevate the football program big time.

Maybe our new defense is bad and made the offense look better, I don't know. Or less rushing the qb. Spring games can be like that.

Probably just comparing it to the product you put on the field last season. That was bad. Frankly, it was a lazy hire and I just assumed you got him on the cheap. Lebby is at least a reach in the right direction for what Miss State needs to compete in the SEC.

We definitely had him as an option if Kiffin leaves.

Only if you're still stuck in 2021. Our offense hasn't missed a beat since then.

Some how OM offense kept putting up big numbers, almost like it didn't matter who was the OC.

True, but I don't think anyone should doubt how good Lebby was here. As an Ole Miss fan I have seen the difference in having Lebby as the OC vs Weiss. So much goes into being a HC beyond being a good offensive mind, but there's no doubt Lebby knows how to run an offense. Subjectively I'll say he learned from the best in Kiffin.
