State didn't run down the NCAA telling on them. The NCAA came to said player in question. I don't know how many times this has to be said. Supposedly, said player then told the truth. Don't feed the Bears by believing their media and story. They've lied, manipulated, and have been deceitful through this whole thing. They did this. The violations say it. It isnt't on State, Leo, Scarborough, LSU, or whoever. It's on Hugh, Bjork, and the rest of those arrogant pricks. Let them brag about "Merry Flipmas" and their recruiting classes now. They made their bed, now let them lie in the shat.

I actually am a ole miss grad and have several degrees from there and even played football for them one spring. My dad was a booster/bagman and Archie manning actually used to play around with me and my friends when I was little as we lived next to them in student housing when I was small. The ole miss assistant coaches used to stay at my house when they recruited the coast. But I also lived for a decade in Baton Rouge my brother, brother n law, grandfather and probably 20-30 cousins nephews uncles etc all played at LSU.

When my dad was a booster and Jackie sherill was at state things were bad but no one would rat anyone out. And my Dad hated Jackie for using all that racist shite against ole miss. Believe it or not most of the ole miss and state booster knew each other and were friendly rivals.

Maybe just me but I never hated state or considered them a rival. They are just the argicultral engineering school down the road.
They are no threat to ole miss. Ole Miss has and always will run the state of Mississippi, much more than LSU runs Louisiana or even the machine runs Bama.

Here are the FACTS of the Cam Newton case as uncovered by the an official investigation involving the NCAA, FBI, and IRS and laid out in an official report:

Cam Newton, while being recruited as the #1 JUCO player, visited and considered Mississippi State as a favor to his former OC at UF who was now the HC at MSU. Everybody with a brain knew MSU didn't stand any real chance of landing Cam as long as he had offers from real schools like Oklahoma. Knowing this and trying to seize a once in a lifetime opportunity for Mississippi State booster and former Bulldog QB John Bond approached Cam's father, Cecil Newton, unsolicited and told him that if he could secure Cam's commitment to Mississippi State, then Bond could secure $200,000 from MSU boosters for Cecil.

Only 2 problems with Bonds scheme. He didn't have any money himself and couldn't find enough State boosters to scrounge up the money. And Cecil doesn't have enough sway over his son to get him to choose a school that Cam doesn't want, especially considering Cam didn't know about the P4P scheme that Bond was trying to cook up with Cecil.

Because of Bonds scheming having Cecil on State's side, Mullen thought that Cam was leaning State too. When Auburn got in the picture late and was obviously the right fit for Cam it caused Mullen to get butthurt because he was delusional enough to think he could legitimately recruit a 5* to Starkville. After failing to buy a recruit, one of the boosters who Bond approached also got butthurt and went to Mullen telling him "well you know that John Bond was going to pay for Cam to come to MSU, so clearly that must mean that Auburn paid him. Never mind the fact that Auburn is just superior to State in every possible facet." Mullen is a snitch by nature so he went running and to tattle to the NCAA.

Now you all want to call Auburn fans delusional for believing this. We were investigated for a year by not only the NCAA, but the FBI. If you think that Auburn is just that good that we could hide a money trail from the freaking FBI then that makes you look like the conspiracy theory delusional nut bag.
