You allowed a player to rat them out clearly breaking the informal "we don't eat our own" rule. This clearly implyd u believe that they broke one of the unwritten recruiting rules. They bought someone that was off limits. Who was it that set u guys off?

Oh nothing really. They just started cherry picking top recruits across the country and landing top 10 recruiting classes while saying Mullen cheats with his top 35 classes.

I'm willing to bet that the NCAA approached Lewis and Lewis told the truth. State won the egg bowl so there isn't anything to be mad about. I heard yesterday that Ole Miss might rat LSU out because of Leo Lewis since LSU heavily recruited him.

Oh please. They have 15 level 1 violations. They don't wanna blame Hugh Swaggert so the blame must be on MSU.

Look. The simpletons from Ole Miss do not understand it... but the NCAA didn't put an ad in the paper and make phone calls like they believe. They found evidence of payments and improprieties and granted immunity to interview. Not the other way around. They need to be looking at Barney or Kiffin who sang on the way out instead of Lewis.

Who are they blaming for the other violations? Who are they blaming for being lied to by their own athletic staff?

And for being unprecedented for this to happen? Umm. Any of you Ole Miss fans remember Doug Buckles when he testified to the NCAA against MSU? Slip the mind?

Take your medicine. Be men. I know you are so angry now you can open your flavored alcohol beverage now without asking for help. But calm down and take it.

Ahh never mind. MELT CONTINUE!!!!

Tut, it is hard for LSU fans to understand an in-state rivalry because LSU doesn't have one. Actually, LSU doesn't have a true border rivalry either, though Ole Miss approximates one, and after A&M wins a few, they will be one.

The essence of an in-state rivalry is that it is never ending. It exists 365-24/7. Everytime some ole Miss lawyer makes a cow-college disparaging joke, or a cow-beller makes a reference to silver spoons in someone's private parts, it is reinforced. Try to picture the way many LSU fans view Alabama, cursing them day and night (an obsession Alabama fans don't return - despite what you believe - they have Auburn and Tennessee), then square that feeling and you might get close.

And generally, all the in-state rivalries take the same form... gentry vs the low-class farmers. Texas/A&M, Ala/barn, Mich/MichStae, OleMiss/State, OK/OkyState, etc., all do this.

It is a shame the Tulane turned its back on big time football in the 1950s. I still enjoy Tulane/LSU baseball however because there is not a lot of love and respect that gets shown...

Ole Miss was winning the in state recruiting battles. It's that simple. Had it continued
MSU would have trouble winning 6 games a year.

Well mainly it's the fake personality they portray to people. You can't cover up white trash when you pull up to tailgate with Walmart chicken fingers and plastic chandeliers. You can cover up the turd but it still smells the same. It doesn't matter how much you drink either...you can't deny who you are. WAOM

They're snitches just look at Leo and Cam. The best thing they're known for is their dairy cows.

NCAA wouldn't have interviewed a player from another school and offered immunity if they didn't already have evidence of impropriety. They didn't just pick these players randomly, come on people.

And as far as Leo "snitching" goes, none of ya'll know what options were presented to him.

More than likely it was:
A) come clean now and stay eligible
B) don't come clean, we investigate, find out you took it, you're inelligible

CeCe J. laid out the wildest and most damning testimony, under immunity of course. But the NCAA couldn't verify his account so it wasn't included in the NOA

Here is the real question....where exactly did they get this "evidence of impropriety"? We already know what the NCAA is capable of (reference the Miami case). Would anyone be surprised if this evidence didn't come from Ole Miss?
