Leach would be an awful hire

We almost killed Tim Couch when Leach was at Kentucky...that offense is not built to play in the SEC week in and week out

You think RichRod is going to win in the SEC West? He can't win at juggernaut Michigan.

To be fair, RR wouldn't have to wait 3 years for his talent to run his system, MSU is already stocked up...

Not really because we have the players and the staff in place for someone like Malzahn to come in and we would never miss a beat.

1. Are you an Oregon AND/OR Miss. St. fan? Just wonderin'.

2. Miss. St. doesn't have the players, at least offensively, to legitimately compete for the SEC title. A good part of that O-line will be gone next year. I'm not trying to take a shot. I'm just bein realistic. As much as I don't want it to happen, I could see Gus goin' to State, and he would be able to recruit top-notch talent there...if they could handle living in Starkville

Good part as in Sherrod or good part as in most of the line? We only lose 2, and one of those missed PT this year.

B/c living in Auburn is light years beyond Vegas.

I'll man up and admit I'm worried. If Mullen takes the FLA.job he will take most of our coaches with him.The promising recruits would decommit and it would be like starting from scratch again. We lose our S&C coach,OL coach and possibly Diaz.Even if Malzahn came to MSU, thats hard to replace.Mullen went 8-4 with not much talent.Imagine what he could once all his recruits became juniors.I believe with this coaching staff in 2 or 3 more yrs,we could compete for SEC and National Titles.I couldn't blame Mullen for leaving but we're screwed if he does, because without Mullen we will be back at the bottom of the SEC imo

I wouldn't really use the term "worried". Worried implies that I'm unsure of the outcome but I'm leaning towards it being bad. That's not the case. There's not one damn doubt in my mind how this will play out.

At this point, I'm wondering who our next coach will be.

Florida is whale hunting for a big name. Unless they get turned down by 2 or 3 guys we wont have to worry about Mullen getting called. Stoops, Peterson, or Patterson... Im looking at you Answer the damn phone

Worried? If this ends with Rich Rod coming to be the coach for 5-10 years MSU fans should be fricking thrilled.

I'm worried about my vision because I could have sworn that I saw an MSU fan not only mention competing for the SEC but also for national titles....i think i need to go get my eyes checked....

I don't think of State in terms of national titles, or really even SEC titles, but more than one national pundit has stated that MSU would be in the hunt had we signed Cam.
