It will be awfully hard for Dan the Man to say NO to Florida, if they come calling.

Thoughts?

Not really because we have the players and the staff in place for someone like Malzahn to come in and we would never miss a beat.

YOU should be more worried about all those teams coming after Houston Nutt.

Oh wait . . .

Worried about what? Do State fans SERIOUSLY think MSU can win the SEC within the next 5 years?

yep I'm worried that Dan might say no to Florida and be at State for a long time.

I'm worried that we might get Gus Malzahn, the head coach of the soon the be national champs.

I'm worried that we might get a fiery Mike Leach who will immediately increase our team swagger.

I'm worried that we might get Rich Rod, who is pretty accomplished already and has ties to the south.

I'm soooooooo worried.

Mullen is not going to Florida bottom line. They have about as much reason to be worried as South Carolina fans do right now. I'd rather Mullen stay at MSU then them pick up Mike Leach. Plus for as much shite as he talks we have to beat him at least once before he leaves.

MSU should take the Xavier path and hire Diaz knowing that Diaz will be a hot commodity soon. Diaz can hire young quality coordinators because they know he won't hang around too long which will give them the opportunity to move up, and so on and so forth.

Xavier isn't a destination for basketball coaches, and MSU isn't a destination for football coaches. When a coach leaves X, we just promote the top assistant and keep on winning. I am sure that Xavier's next head coach is sitting on the bench with Mack.

If Mullen goes I hope MSU gets Leach and not Malzahn. Malzahn would be a great coach at MSU.

Malzahn at MSU would be friggin' awesome...

If Florida snags away Mullen, I think MSU fans will still end up quite happy.

Malzahn might want to get out of Auburn before the Cam stuff hits the fan in the future...

I have been saying Leach forever. If that happened, I would not expect us to do well the next year, because of the change in the system. He would have to hire a defensive coordinator though. The reason I like him is because I just want someone that will stay put, and he would, especially in a small town like Starkville. If we don't hire someone like him, and we're successful, we're gonna be doing the same old shite every other off-season.

Isn't it incredible what an 8-4 season can do to fans' confidence in their program?

Malzahn will win next year with the players on the roster.

Leach won't...

Mike Leach has ZERO fire or personality. I spent my freshman year at TTU and met him a couple of times, not to mention he never so much as yelled on the sidelines.

You think RichRod is going to win in the SEC West? He can't win at juggernaut Michigan.

You don't think Mullen wouldn't take Diaz and Co. with him?

That's why my dicks not hard. There's plenty of good coaches out there that would he willing to come to state with what Mullen's built. What gets me chubby is some of your leans and commits that could jump towards Oxford
