Did people forget this was a 23-20 game last year?

And it was 23-3 going into halftime. Our players didn't get worse, Les did what les does: let his foot off the gas and hold on.

Haven't seen that from O yet. It was refreshing to keep scoring points and playing aggressive on defense against outmatched opponents later in the year.

Only way it's close is if MSU is a legit top 20 team, or Canada is not the man we think he is. It won't be close because we called it a day after 2 quarters.

Close game mid way through the third and then LSU will take over. Score will be in the ballpark of 34-17.

I'm in my office now stretching and breaking down film of La Tech.....because what I'm thinking about right now will certainly determine how our group of 18-22 year olds play this Saturday.

You know that was the only game Dak won against us right? 1-2 for is career. And State has only won twice in the last 22 years.

I like the dawgs. Plus I have $500 on State having over 5.5 wins and $1000 on LSU having under 9 so go puppies.

If State had any WR threat then I'd like their chances.

As it is, LSU grounds and pounds MSU into submission at 27-13

State won't put up 20 on LSU. 14 I could see but not 20. We do well against mobile QBs.

State put 20 on you last year, and should've won the game.

Yeah, I know...Les Miles...whatever. Eddie O is gonna be making you guys miss Miles pretty quickly.

Well, first the game is in Starkvegas, so that is a plus for the DAWGS to be really fired up. If State is ahead or keeps it close at half time; DAWGS will win by a close margin. Voo Doo Les is no longer at the helm.

Will know more after this weekend. If Lawrence and Key are back for Miss St game, it could be a brutal game for the Bulldogs.

27-14 Tigers

Mullen caught LSU one year with Dak, and athletes everywhere on defense. In recent years, State played LSU close, despite never leading in the game. That was more a hallmark of Les Miles' philosophy of "securing the win" and then shutting the offense down.

In 2017, LSU is returning to their rightful dominance in this series. This defense is the best LSU has had since 2011 whereas State is still just Leo Lewis and a collection of guys who couldn't get better offers.

35-6

I think our defensive talent talent paired with Grantham's aggressive style will cause big problems for Guice and Etling.

You do realize that Grantham was Louisville's DC in the 2016 Citrus Bowl right? Guice and Etling did ok in that game iirc
