Just to preface this.. I am an alabama season ticket holder in the lower north endzone.

Almost in all games the last few years everyone stands and makes as much noise as possible. Seems like normal.

However last night everyone was pretty mute and someone actually complained to me that they could not see because I was standing. While I could understand if someone had special needs behind me it would be different, but this was not the case. Plus the game was 13 to 3 and miss state had the ball.

Am I in the wrong here for not sitting down? Is there some unwritten rule or something.

A lot of douche bag LSU fans do the same thing. That only makes me want to scream louder and stand for the entire game.

I hate blue hairs. They need to go home, knit a sweater, and watch the fricking game on tv. The next time a blue hair asks ME to sit down I'm stealing their cane and laughing at them.

We had the "standing/not standing" wars on the Tiger Rant for many years, especially 2008 when the AD put out a letter about it.

I don't want to get into all this shite again, because it seriously pisses me off, but in summary, I'm with you, broseph!

You were definitely wrong. You should have sat down so neither one of you could have seen what was going on.

Actually you probably should have went all Scott Cochran on her and said this ain't homecoming. You got to pay the price if you want to win in this league then scream yeah about 2 or 3 times and ended it with a paying the cost to be the boss baby.

There was no conclusion. He just sent out a letter (completely out of the blue) prior to the 2008 season indicating that fans should remain seated except for those few occasions when they "spontaneously stand up" to cheer a big play. It was fricking retarded.

I hate sitting in non-student section seats. Not being able to stand and yell makes me feel like I am not fully supporting my team. These old stubborn mules don't get it that noise is a huge factor when our team is on defense.
