Several SEC schools do generate revenue from baseball. And who cares how private donors want to spend their money?

Your IPF for football which you share with baseball has plywood on the walls and youre gonna drop 55 million on baseball. I'm happy for ya

You replaced your end zone bleachers with end zone bleachers.

Our plywood is really good plywood. Doesn't really play into the functionality of the IPF. Our Football Complex is pretty dang nice.

One does without post season hosting, and as I said, LSU basketball makes more than LSU baseball

And? Your point?

College basketball is a bigger sport than college baseball. I would hope the basketball team made more money than the baseball team.

It could be made of gold. It's still in Mississippi. The only state that AR ranks above most of the time

The think is, LSU is in Baton Rouge. A nice size city plus they have a ton of fans in New Orleans which is a rock throw away. We don't have that but this new stadium will likely draw more people willing to drive greater distances to experience baseball in a new stadium.

On campus. I think LSU/Tulane at Superdome and something out West was higher for two college teams.

From Wiki

SEC weekend games typically draw the largest crowds, giving rise to huge weekend gatherings. Mississippi State currently holds the NCAA record for the largest single game on-campus baseball attendance at 15,586 and the largest SEC crowd for a 3-game weekend series at 39,181. In 2007 versus the Clemson Tigers, MSU had the NCAA's top two all-time highest attended Super Regional games with 12,620 and 13,715 fans.

Mississippi State has all of the top 11 on-campus crowds in the history of college baseball.
