Steve hates being 2nd fiddle to Nick.

Have to say I'm coming around to the view that we need to do away with the permanent rival thing. I like playing LSU - we go to Baton Rouge for that game pretty often and have a blast, and have a bunch of friends down there. But the inequity in scheduling caused by keeping the permanent rivals is becoming a bigger issue and frankly it has the potential to damage the SEC brand IMO.

In a way, I'm kind of glad about the two bridge schedules. At first it was really just LSU fans that saw what a sham the SEC schedule format was (granted, it was a lot easier for LSU fans to see it given the position LSU had been put in the last decade+), but now pretty much everyone around the country is beginning to see the light.

Hmmm, what a novel idea: fair, even scheduling practices.

When Spurrier flaps his jaws, you're either going to get comedic gold or gobbledy-asian.

Would have been nice if Spurrier would have addressed this during the SEC meetings, no?

Both go and come back from the league...one wins 3 of 4 and the other gives rings for winning more than 10 games...

Must be hard to deal with.

Well I could have sworn the other Gator fans here said it's just because we're just scared to play you guys?

And Spurrier's obviously a buttmad LSU fan.

Meh.. just because he refers to him as Nick and not Lord Saban and does not sniff his farts like everyone does not mean he hates it. He just likes rustling his jimmies. SOS is happy as ever and says what he thinks. He doesn't say the same boring arse coach speak all the time. I wish more coaches would do that.

I'll take coaches that win championships myself.

Yeah. Spurrier hasn't won any of those.

Also from the article:

“Yep, and guess who played in the (SEC) championship game?” Spurrier said. “Scheduling is so important nowadays. But for some reason, we don’t want to acknowledge that. We don’t want to talk about that.”

I am now sure that Spurrier does NOT visit the secrant.com.

Maybe if Spurrier would've had his team at least show up against us last year, they would've been in Atlanta.

I like this idea. There's no doubt that Alabama gets nipple-fed by the big breasted mother which is the SEC head office.

I think Spurrier rustled some jimmies in here.
