His last games vs Tennessee at both UF and SC were both crushing home losses.

I like how you make Les Miles sound like a bad arse. He's a sweety poo bear.

Spurrier was a good coach not a GREAT coach. His weakness has always been defense. Coaches like Spurrier, Sumlin, and Malzahn will never ascend to the top tier of GREAT COACHES because their specialty football coaches - offensive minded coaches who have zero interest in scheming or coaching defense. That leaves them vulnerable to whoever coaches their defense. Bear Bryant, Woody Hayes, Bo Schembechler, and Knute Rockne coached offense and defense. Those were GREAT coaches. Spurrier doesn't deserve a place among them.

It ain't pretty, but you better count again, son.

And I specified Miles, who is 4-0 himself against SOS. Deal.

I will admit that the LSU dominance really didn't begin until Spurrier was on his way out of UF. He beat us in 2001 yet we still won the SEC. We're not anyone's Bitch

You do know that after the 1996 National Title SOS had only one title in his last 20 years, a 2000 SEC Title. Bear won 5 National Titles in his last 19 years, just a comparison.

But after 1996, SOS, was mediocre at best.
