You are correct.

We are talking about the person who said that he tore 4 muscles and the person that said he tore tendons.

i own race horses. I probably watch on avg 70 hours of horse racing a week and have for quite a while this is how i make a living basically. I see injuries like this once a week in horse racing. not calling latt a horse or anything, but bones are bones and muscles are muscles.

bones heel. as long as blood circulation can get in there the bone is going to heel no questions asked. Muscles don't heel, you can repair them, but once you repair them, 95 out of 100 times the athlete is not going to be anywhere near as explosive or as fast as they were previously.

i would put the chances of latt returning and playing at teh same level, or even a level to be drafted at 2%. He would have to be a genetic freak of nature. AD is the only athlete I know who i think could overcome from something like this and function at a high level.

I've been watching horse racing my entire life and i ahve only seen 2 horses in my life have injuries equivalent to this calibut return to have some of the same success, a horse named idiot proof and a horse named The tin man.. the tin man actually was better when he came back, that's for a different post though

Horse anatomy =\= Human anatomy

And yes, muscles can heal. They tear and heal everytime you lift weights matter of fact if we want to be technical.

Where did you see that he tore 4 muscles?

And yes, muscles do heal. Actually they heal rather quickly in most cases. Bones don't have blood flow. Muscles do. No offense, but you are a little bit off with this.

I pray that isn't true. I broke my femur in 2 places and was on crutches for over 2 years with 3 surgeries. I feel so bad for him.

exactly… which is why i'm not sure why the other guy said 4 muscles, or whatever…

the four ligaments he tore were in the knee… and we don't know OFFICIALLY that he did break his femur…. to me it looked like a complete dislocation, so i expected all 4 of those ligaments to be torn, but unless the femur broke somewhere around the epiphyseal plate or something, it didn't look like a break….

I didn't say that he was going to recover. I said that it isn't impossible.

You are an idiot. Hopefully you get banned soon.

and the only "arse" would be the one that you are making yourself out to be, so you may just want to stop while ahead….
