So sad and such a shame. Prayers for him and his family.

I didn't see it or any of the game, but I teared up a little when I read it on my phone. Life is cruel; he deserves success.

This is probably the worst injury I've seen since Naploeon McCallum.
I hope he had an insurance policy that covers career ending injuries.

Me neither. But it explains the graphic pics. His lower leg was essentially detached from his upper leg except for soft tissue.

Sad to hear. That kid just can't catch a break. (No pun intended). Good kid too.

People we're hoping he could be like McGahee, is that possible? I'm not a sports injury expert just being optomistic.
and I know football isn't the be all end all because he could have had a Eric LeGrand type injury but for some reasonthis feels just as devastating. JMO & feelings.

With the injuries listed, my first thought would be he would be lucky to be able to walk like a normal person after all this.

Football? I just hope he can get his full range of motion back in his lower body!

Didn't Chad Jones have a more severe injury?
Yea, Chad almost lost his leg. He had a compartment syndrome. He's definitely lucky to be walking.

God Almighty. i hate that for a tough, classy kid. ain't much in the 'prayers sent' department, but will make an exception for Latt.

Modern medicine can do amazing things.
I'm not saying that he will ever play football again, but there is a small chance that he could. He has a long, painful road ahead of him. Lots of surgeries and months of rehab.
