Maybe due to the fact that we never gave our defense time to rest? Hmmm now there's a thought.

Wow. Just wow. So, if we don't reclaim #3 from Arky this season, that proves are program is desperate for another Cam? That is it. I'm done. I've seen it all.

So how long are yall willing to wait to get another SEC title?

Serious question.

Forget it ! It's useless and obvious that Chizik has the wool pulled over these delusional Aubie's. After another 7-5 season, another loss to Bama, in 2012. Maybe in 2013 these Aub's will open up their eyes and say Chizik isn't a good coach and that everybody ,"but the Auburn fans" were right ! Even the nondelusional AU fans that I know say the same thing. Like I said in another post "UA just sets the bar higher than AU".

Almost every AU fan I know has said that AU should be competing for the SECC by '13, and if not, a change might need to be made. That's 3 years removed from a MNC. That's not exactly being complacent.

I've said numerous times that we should be competing very seriously for one by next year. That being 4-12 against Arky, LSU, UGA & Bama is absolutely unacceptable.

it's an easy article to write, but facts are facts... i (and every au fan for that matter) have not been happy with the program's performance from 2007 to 2011, with the exception of 2010.

IMO, we're on the right track... but if you simply look at the records, and not take into account circumstances/context, you can come to the conclusion than auburn is struggling.

God we have already gone over this. If Chiz is not in the hunt next year, he is in big trouble.

I'm back. I passed out trying to hold my breath while typing a literature review.

Well it takes oxygen to live and you have to be alive to type therefore you have to have oxygen to type.

To be honest, that's all these media hacks look at, they don't know jackshit about how or why a program is where it is - they only look at the W-L column.

30-10 is still 30-10. A NC is a NC.

Saban's first three years he won 28 games that counted.

He just benefited from winning in his third year. He backslid in his 4th.

Thank you for making our point for us.

Backsliding for Alabama and Saban is a 10 win season and a bowl win over the B1G co-champion, followed up by a BCS championship the next year. Backsliding for Auburn under Chizik is an 8 win season with a bowl win over, uh, Virginia (?)...and how many people are predicting Auburn to win the BCSCG this year?

This guy wrote an article that he knew would bring eyes to the website. He knew exactly what he was doing. He apparently graduated from Columbia, so I would expect better, but money makes the world go round and website clicks/eyes on the page is what it's all about now.

Until you remember that Chizik won a national championship.

Yeah, but Corey Lemonier says that any team would have won it with Newton, right?

Newton wouldn't have been at AU if Tuberville was still there. He didnt recruit at all. That's why it's taken so long to rebuild. I don't think any other fan base has actually looked at what Tuberville did his last two years.

Yes, but in this case that any team was AU under Chizik.

Are you saying he quit once they started flying the Bobby Petrino's of the world in to interview?

Well since Jetgate was before the 2004 season, no that's not when he quit. I think he was still bitter over it though. And yes I'm saying he quit 2 years before we fired him.

No, we're all aware of what Tuberville did and didn't do recruiting -wise his last two years. What we're saying is that after year 3 the statute of limitations on blaming Tuberville has run out. You guys sound like Vol fans wanting to make excuses for Dooley by continuing to blame Fulmer.
