Chizik could have done himself a few favors by not absolutely throwing up all over the place his first three years recruiting players in the back 7. The fact Auburn is still stuck with the same shittastic linebackers it ran out on the field last year is nobody's fault but his.
It's also funny that perhaps the three worst defenses in auburn history have all been coached by this supposed defensive "guru".

Whoever Gordy is, is flat out wrong. We'll have as close to 85 this year as we've had since Chizik has been the head coach. I think 81 or 82 is the # with the 3 non-qualifiers as of today.
I love how everyone forgets that this will only be Chizik's 6th year as a head coach. Iowa St is what it was. It's a stepping stone for any coach.
So, through 5 full years of being a head coach, he won a national championship, SEC championship and 3 bowl games. I think any coach in the country would be ecstatic with that, especially after what he came into after Tubs was canned and one of the worst seasons in Auburn's modern history.
We've recruited very well the last 3 years and it should start to show this year and definitely the next two.
