I would personally take Von Miller but that's another thread

I don't know enough about football to answer that one. Why don't you ask some NFL people?

I'd be curious on each other's stats actually. I know the Badger outshined Miller in the Cotton Bowl beatdown as a true freshman.

I think they are hands-down the two best players at their respective positions in the NFL today.

Can you imagine a defense with both of them?

There are at minimum two QBs to play in the SEC in the last ten years better than JFF: Cam Newton and Tim Tebow.

GOAT? Please.

I'd definitely go with Cam or Tebow.

I think he's a bit (just a bit) older than that. And Mathieu was a special talent and continues to be. Can't help but like the guy. But if we're going lifetime, my contemporaries Lester Hayes and Pat Thomas would like a word.

Manziel. Just because he is a quarterback. Honeybadger of course is one of the best to ever play the game in my opinion. He is not the biggest player on the field and he is not the fastest but he is the best. I love watching the guy.

+1

The badger is the best Ive ever seen. His first ever game he had a strip sack at a crucial point against UNC. Dude just made plays constantly. It is a shame we didn't get to see his junior year.

And before pics of 21-0 get thrown out there, look at the damn coverage. AJ was just on point that game with perfect passes. Kudos to him.

If Mathieu played QB he would've been a better QB than JFF. but he is hands down a better overall football player.

This is why I called you out in the first response. Because you would then fight anyone who disagrees.

Predictable 7.

Well...it was a pretty fair correction, though, don't you think?

ETA

I tried to find out and came up with this:

2 Fumble recoveries returned for TD
2 Punt Returns returned for TD

I'm not sure if this counts conference championship games or bowl games. Does this look correct, LSU fan? You would know more than I would.

Nah. He was wrong on the number to begin with and couldn't adhere to the own rules of the thread.

See my post just above yours. (I amended it after you posted) Does that look closer to being correct?

I'm not on either side. But if we are going to start citing statistics we should try to get them correct, right?

That's fine. And if you make your own rules about a thread you should follow them and not try and have the bias that you were trying to prevent in the first place.
