Texag?
Is that some sort of insult

Texag is a guy who will flame this board until the day he dies. Gets banned every other day, and just fires up 10 more alters to preach A&M as God and call LSU fans dumbasses and corndogs. Every new poster is another Texag alter

What about parity?

Would you say there was parity in the SEC when Bear Bryant was coaching?

I maybe wrong, but wasn't the bulk of his career before Ark was in the SEC?

You're not wrong, but he was our AD who orchestrated our move to the SEC.

I didn't much care for him, but he did do some great things for Arkansas. I'll just let sleeping dogs lie about the things I didn't like about him.

How close is Calipari? I know he needs more championships, but if coaches another 10 yrs, do UK fans think he reach reach Rupp's level in their opinion?

No, but there was very little parody where a lot of the smaller schools - like TCU can beat you.

Being I stopped in Montgomery on my way to NC for vacation and Tuscaloosa on the way back, I guess my spell check got stupid.

Cal is outpacing even Rupp right now. We'll have another title or two if he's here another decade. He'll be here at least another five.

Football has so much more parody today than anytime in the history of football.

ISWYDT. If we're talking parody...maybe Miles, Orgeron, Muschamp and Kiffin?

Rupp, Bryant, summitt, Bertman.

These 4 transcended their respective sports beyond just successful but into unbeatable machines year after year after year.

add me to the has to be football only crowd. no way you could leave out Bear Bryant, Saban or Spurrier. considering his contributions in their totality I'd put Spurrier at the top of the list. no way you can marginalize a guy who is a Heisman winning Hall of Famer as a player and a multiple title winning coach who also was position coach for a Heisman. who else in history can match that? you'd have one hell of a debate over who the 4th should be though.

edit to add: Spurrier is on the ballot for the HOF as a coach this time too so you will probably be adding that to his resume soon.
