we were up 3 and would have had the ball if they had not catched their own kickoff. Alabama's defense was gtting murdered in that game. the reason he called the play is he knew it was over if clemson scores again and he had no confidence in his D.
this is the same defense that bama people said was maybe the best of all time and CU was doing this without our fastest WR who was suspended.
CLemson did give up some big plays but without the onside kick recovery most lkely looking at a different outcome.

You guys sucked, one man team. You did read my post? You couldn't stop our TE and last time I looked he was still open.

our running back was murdering u in the 2nd half. lol
other than the big plays, your offense was stuffed most of the time
most teams in a title game are going to make some good plays but that doesn't mean you were dominating the game. you are not hoping for an onside kick recovery in the 4th quarter if you are dominating your opponent. lol

Did we watch the same game? Wasn't close.
Posted on 5/9/16 at 7:45 pm to nc14
did you miss the part where bama kicked the ball to themselves?
Clemson had 6 WRs with 30 yards or more, 4 with 60 yards or more. Your TE had the bulk of your yardage. yet you say CU is a one man team. lol
bama loses that game easily without their good special teams unit. the punt or kick return and the onside recovery were the major plays in the game.

Up by three then down by two scores. All on one kick. Did you know that in 2009 we faked a punt in the first quarter of the NCG and it failed? We won by the way, it's what winners do.
Try this, we only had 18 first downs to your 31 while covering the
same yardage, fricking goal line getting in the way. Let that sink in. You were outmatched, pure and simple. But hey, you have everybody back. Good luck. Want to place an early bet?

'we'
you didn't play in the game, 'winner'.
Clemson was outmatched on special teams, no question. Special teams is why Bama won.

Clemson iddn't lose at home to a 4 loss team tho.

Prize? Where should I ship it? Really, I will comply.

u do that. :)
why not just admit it is fortunate that the rules allow teams to kickoff to themselves.
it is weird to me that receiving taeam doesn't have to field a punt but they have to field a kickoff. it is an arbitrary inconsistency.
basically, they should just allow the kicking team to have some of their players on the same side with the receiving team, if they ar allowed to catch the ball in the air.

Damn having to know the rules. Fooled once shame on you, fooled twice...

lol
so u lke footall comes down to rules on kicks rather than offense and defense.

Last time that I checked it came down to score. Doesn't define how. Onside kick may be advanced by receiving team but not back kicking team. What says you about that disadvantage? Outplayed, out coached, out classed.

ok but didn't lose at home to medicore team despite the lack of clss. :)
as a Alabama SuperfAN and Saban brown noser, you have to admit a close loss to Bama in a national title game is more impressive than a loss to Ole Miss at home. Clemson has the better loss, no? :)
i wonder how many times Alabama would have been succesful kicking the ball to themselves, b/c one assumes the kicker isn't always going to get it up to allow a catch, or one of the players will have butterfingers and drop a catchable ball. I woould say this only works 1 out of 10 times.

Come play with the big boys and quit playing those basketball schools. Would love to have you in the SEC.
Posted on 5/9/16 at 8:28 pm to nc14
don't see anything big about SEC lately, which is why Bama has owned the league. if it is so competitive, they don't it almost every year.
right now SEC is about the same as ACC back in the 90s.

Okay, but we loaded up on better wins. Which would you rather have?
Posted on 5/9/16 at 8:30 pm to nc14
lol what are your good wins? LSU at home was your best w in conference. Ole miss was the best SEC team that bama played and bama lost, at home.
FSU, ND< and UNC were better wins than Bama.
